Isaiah 43:18,19 “But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

So God just finished talking about parting the waters of the Red Sea and how He did this mighty thing and then He says “You aint seen nothin yet!!!

There is a New Beginning and it’s going to be even better than what we’ve already seen and it doesn’t even compare to what He’s going to do. He’s telling us to have Hope because He’s not finished, He’s only Begun.

He starts to talk about the wilderness and rivers, so what does He mean??

In other words where there was death (wilderness) God will make a pathway through it!

Can you picture it?

In all the lostness (if that’s even a word) fear, anxiety, and doom, He makes a pathway. It’s almost like you’re looking for the road and all of a sudden you see the “pathway” it’s a sign of Direction. Just that alone can bring a sense of peace.

BUT…He goes on to say that He will create Life (rivers) IN the dry place.

So sometimes we continue through the wilderness but he gives clarity and sustains us in that place. I personally take God for every single Word that comes out from his mouth written all over the pages of the Bible (his Word). We may not understand the whole reasoning behind our struggles and insecurities but just to know that every time God addresses something He has done or is going to do it applies to every single one of us.

This Scripture will be my reminder and I hope yours as well that God has a plan and if we choose to trust Him at His Word…We have so much to look forward to because We Aint Seen Nothin Yet!!!
