Pondering

As I sit here with my thoughts about the unknown, not in fear but as trust, I began to ask myself while meditating on God’s Word (the Bible), “How much do I really believe that He holds my every thought, motive, action and future in the palm of His hand, and if this is truth, do I believe it?!?”

I see on every line written in His Word that (God) has met each person and situation right at their need, and at the purposed time. We can see history told (prophesy) before it happened and then see it fulfilled all in the same book. And if we can see there is yet history to be fulfilled, can we trust that it will be fulfilled in a purposed time.

That’s where my pondering came in…

It all comes down to trust. Why? Because it’s not a question of, “is the Bible true?” The real question is, “Do I TRUST that the Bible is true?” To me, It’s not a matter of “IF” it is, but that it “IS” true.

Pondering the unknown is a gateway to a question, I believe, many people ask. We have to be willing to be honest with ourselves and answer that question. “Do I trust that God meets every person right at their need and if he has in the past, will I trust Him to do it again, and if he’s done it again, what of all the unknown yet to come?”

As for myslef, I do trust that He holds all my thoughts, motives, actions and future in His hand. I have put all my trust in who He is, and what His Word (the Bible) says to me to be truth. So what He has promised for my future (and yours) I know will be fulfilled in His purposed time.

It all comes down to TRUST.

How about you? What do you trust??
